WHAT IS THE ROLE OF A TELEPHONE SALES CONSULTANT?

Under the supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor, the telephone sales consultant's main responsibilities will be

Business development (telephone)

  • Greet customers on the phone in a warm and courteous manner
  • Promote and sell products and services to existing customers
  • Handle all requests received from customers by phone, fax or email
  • Process orders placed by phone, fax and email.
  • Work in collaboration with the corporate account managers
  • Develop the customer account base in order to maintain and increase the volume of purchases
  • Analyze customer accounts to detect opportunities or anomalies
  • Follow up with customers who are no longer purchasing at their regular frequency in order to understand and remedy the situation;
  • Make outbound calls to follow up on new products, present promotions or other.

REQUIRED PROFILE of the telephone sales consultant :

  • Mandatory in-store training - minimum 3 months/training salary $18/hr
  • Strong aptitude for customer service
  • Professional, responsible and reliable
  • Good communicator and good listening skills
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
